A school’s whole register, kept by the school.
App Vidyalaya is one register for an institution: admissions, classes, hostel and mess, fees, staff and pay, stores, buildings, transport and the welfare of every student, from the day a student is admitted to the day they leave and after.
Why it exists
- A residential Veda pāṭhaśālā keeps more records than most schools: where each student sleeps and eats, who has gone home and who has come back, what was learnt, and what was paid. Those records were kept in registers, spreadsheets and memory.
- App Vidyalaya was built first for such schools, and then set up to fit day schools, government schools, universities and research institutes.
- The institution chooses the features it uses. Nothing it did not ask for appears on its screens.
- Records are kept in India, a correction never erases the original, and lists leave the institution only when an authority asks for them.
Who stands behind it
Product designed by VKG Foundation; Implemented by SD Ventures and Supplies for Dharma Poshanam, licensee
- VKG Foundation designs the product: what it records, how it treats a student’s data, and what it must never do.
- SD Ventures and Supplies implements it: it builds the software, onboards each institution and answers its questions.
- Dharma Poshanam holds the licence under which App Vidyalaya is offered to institutions.

The accounts companion: receipts, ledgers and statements. The school connects it with a code sent to its own email.
